Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform is hiring an Associate Software Engineer to be located in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will work for the Red Hat Ansible Content team, one of the key areas within Ansible, which spans across Red Hat’s diverse solution portfolio. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will design and develop the Ansible Content Collection. You will have the opportunity to write tests for your content collection with Development. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions. Work in a fast-paced environment using GitHub and peer review workflows; strong foundations in computer science will substantially benefit the team.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Analyses the test cases and patches the bugs.
- Delivers new Python features for the Ansible collections.
- Writes efficient code, unit tests, integration tests and followed the collection to be worked in production environment.
- Explains the work process for the new feature.
- Collaborates and work with team via online meetings.
- Responsible to accomplish the work on time and ensure to make releases on time.
Qualifications and Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+months experience with software development in Python.
- Solid understanding in Object Oriented Programming.
- Good in Software Development Skills.
- Experience with unit tests, integration tests.
- Ability to work in cross-functional team collaboration.
- Capability to learn containerization and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with Git and Git hub or any other version control system.
- Relatable experience in using Linux operating System.
