Role and Responsibilities:
- The role involves making enhancements, upgrades, and modifications to the code and programs of systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking tools, utilities, databases, and internet-related tools.
- Performs the implemented test plans and procedures for assigned codes are executed; identifies, logs, and debugs the assigned issues.
- This role develops relationship with, both internal and outsourced development partners in the context of software systems design and development.
- Participates as a team member in project teams of other software systems engineers and internal or outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field
- Typically 0-2 years experience
Technical Skills:
- Experience or knowledge on software design tools and programming languages.
- Good coding skills in any programming language.
- Good flexibility and analytical skills.
- Understanding the code and fixing the bugs.
- Knowledge on testing, debugging process.
- Ability to understand the design for software products.
